Uniform Guide
This is a starter guide for families. Always follow the most current BSA uniform guidance and your pack’s specific expectations.
Cub Scouts (Youth)
- Field uniform (Class A): Official Cub Scout shirt + appropriate neckerchief/slide (as directed by your den/pack), belt, and uniform-appropriate bottoms.
- Activity uniform (Class B): Pack t-shirt (or scouting t-shirt) with activity-appropriate shorts/pants. Used for many outdoor activities.
- Badges & patches: Place rank badges, council/pack numbers, and other insignia according to BSA placement guides.
Cub Scout Leaders (Adults)
- Field uniform: Official adult Scout uniform shirt with correct insignia, belt, and appropriate bottoms.
- Position patches: Cubmaster/committee/den leader patches should match your registered role.
- Activity uniform: Pack/Scout t-shirt when appropriate (campouts, service projects, etc.).
